WebJan 10, 2024 · Shrek's entire demeanor changed in the third movie. His nerves around being a dad paralyzed him and his relationship with Fiona changed because of it. For fans, it didn't make sense why Shrek was so against kids, but after hearing his own childhood trauma, it's hard not to feel bad for him. WebIt's not a bad film, actually I think Shrek is consistently a high standard throughout - although admittedly Shrek the Third is probably the weakest entry. I think Prince Charming is such a great villain, in that the films do a really good job of pointing out just how toxic and entitled the classic fairytale prince would be in reality.
