They can occur as solitary lesions in adults or as multiple recurring lesions often in children. Site predilection includes tongue, soft palate but any surface of oral cavity can be affected [4 ]. WebFEH is a rare benign lesion of the oral mucosa mainly found in ethnic groups, including Native Americans from North and South America. FEH appears in the oral mucosa as flat, multiple lesions of the lips, tongue, or buccal mucosa. Often children are affected. HPV-13 or -32, or both, are found in more than 90% of the biopsies.
