In our whole test suite not a single game saw a meaningful performance hit with 12 GB, not even at 4K—and RTX 4070 is fundamentally a 1440p card. Webdwm.exe is often using 1.5GB or more of Vram. I have a RTX 3070 which only has 8GB of Vram and at 4k I have been Vram limited in games like Red Dead Redemption 2, and Doom Eternal while both games said they wouldn't reach 8GB in the graphics settings.
